This site looks best in Firefox or other non-Microsoft browsers (as do most sites, frankly); but that might not be a good enough reason to get you to switch. So how about speed, safety, ease of use and more?

Other browsers that PC users might want to try include Chrome, Opera and Flock.

If you just love Bill Gates too much to leave him, then, at least update to IE8.

If you're sending an email message to more than one contact, you can use the BCC ("Blind Carbon Copy") field to prevent each of the recipients from seeing the email addresses of the others. Doing this is one way to help prevent the harvesting of email addresses by spammers. See here and here for more info.
